México, D.F.- De acuerdo con un análisis realizado por MercadoLibre Publicidad, unidad que se dedica al desarrollo y comercialización de soluciones de publicidad dentro de MercadoLibre (http://publicidad.mercadolibre.com.mx/), Nuevo León es la entidad de la República Mexicana con mayor número de consumidores online dentro de la plataforma de MercadoLibre, después del Distrito Federal.
Dicho análisis revela que la mayoría de los consumidores online de la plataforma provenientes del estado de Nuevo León son hombres (80%). Del total de los consumidores (hombres y mujeres), el 42% tiene entre 18 y 25 años, 19% de 26 a 30 años y 11% de 31 a 35 años.
Así mismo, las categorías online más consultadas por los consumidores online (hombres) de la región de Nuevo León en MercadoLibre son:
• Celulares y Telefonía
• Electrónica, Audio y Video
• Consolas y Videojuegos
• Autos, Motos y Otros
Mientras que para las consumidoras online (mujeres) de esta región son las siguientes:
• Música, Películas y Series
• Cámaras y Accesorios
• Celulares y Telefonía
• Ropa, Bolsas y Calzado
• Salud y Belleza
De la misma forma, el análisis reveló que el lugar donde más se conectan a Internet los consumidores del estado de Nuevo León es en su hogar, seguido de la oficina o celular y como última opción en un cibercafé.
Sobre la ocupación de los consumidores online, el análisis indica que más de la mitad son personas económicamente activas: 42% son empleados y 15% empresarios, mientras que sólo un 33% son estudiantes. Sobre el nivel de escolaridad, el 7% tiene algún diplomado o maestría, 36% tiene una licenciatura y 17% la preparatoria.
En lo que respecta a su estado civil, 68% de los consumidores online de Nuevo León son solteros y 32% casados. Así mismo, más de la mitad (51%) de los consumidores online son de nivel socioeconómico A/B, 34% C+ y 15% C.
“Nuevo León es uno de los estados de la República Mexicana con más habitantes. Si bien a esto se le atribuye, en gran parte, que sea el segundo estado con mayor número de consumidores online en MercadoLibre, las ventajas que ofrece Internet hace que cada vez más regiomontanos se sumen al comercio electrónico. De acuerdo con el INEGI, el 55% de los habitantes del estado de Nuevo León son usuarios de Internet y de ellos, el 67% lo utiliza todos los días.”, comentó Ignacio Caride, Director General de MercadoLibre México.
En MercadoLibre hay más de 172,604 artículos a la venta que están en Nuevo León; 10% corresponden a la categoría de Computación, la más consultada por los consumidores online de Nuevo León y 10% a Música, Películas y Series, la categoría de mayor interés para las consumidoras de esta región.
