Laredo, Texas.- El próximo primero de octubre del 2011 la oficina de la Campaña Federal Combinada (CFC) llevará a cabo su colecta anual y su paseo a caballo en esta Ciudad fronteriza.
La colecta la encabezan Gene Garza Jr., presidente de CFC deLaredo, Texas
Peggy M. Duncan, Director Ejecutivo de United Way of Laredo Mayor del Suroeste de Texas las agencias federales, el personal de correos y militares.
De acuerdo con el comunicado, las agencias federales en la región sudoeste, en conjunto con United Way de Laredo, sede de la segunda edición de la Campaña Federal Combinada (CFC) la cabalgata o paseo a caballo está abierto al público.
Los organzadores dijeron que se aceptan donaciones de 20 dólares para los jinetes y un donativo de 5 dólares para los paseos en carruaje.
En la zona habrá desayunos y almuerzos, donde incluso los funcionarios de agencias federales y de la United Way de Laredo estarán disponibles para entrevistas.
Todas las ganancias de CFC 2011 las actividades de apoyo elegibles sin fines de lucro.
Las inscripciones comienzan a las 7:00 de la mañana, la cabalgata está programada para iniciar a las 9:00 de la mañana del sábado primero de octubre del presente año.
La United Way de Laredo es el principal organizador, conjuntamente con el Fondo (PCFO) en zona conocida como el Gran Suroeste de Texas CFC.
Esta campaña federal comprende la región de Webb, Zapata, Jim Hogg, Dimmit, Duval, La Salle y los condados de Maverick.
Se pretende que organizaciones de beneficencia estatal, nacional e internacional lleve a cabo programas de apoyo a la población civil.
Dicha campaña tiene una duración de aproximadamente 4 semanas y ofrece a los empleados federales la oportunidad de apoyar a organizaciones de beneficencia.
Todos los donativos son deducibles de nómina o a través de una donativo de una sola exhibición.
Se comentó que en los últimos tres años, esta campaña ha recibido el reconocimiento nacional por parte de la Oficina de Administración de Personal en Washington, DC por los esfuerzos de nuestros empleados locales de la federación.
