El “pulpo” camionero federal: Senda, Frontera, Transpaís y otros, discrimina el servicio a los indígenas avecindados en Nuevo León y, no conformes con ello, sabotean y boicotean las unidades “chárter” que los usuarios rentan por su cuenta, señaló Esteban Tello, presidente de la ONG, Regios Libres.
Además de no brindarles el servicio a los indígenas, agregó, las grandes líneas del autotransporte federal tienen de cómplice a la policía de las carreteras que detienen a las unidades chárter y bajan a los pasajeros en las rúas o en terminales en distintas ciudades, según el itinerario.
De acuerdo Esteban Tello, en Nuevo León residen unos 400 mil indígenas de distintos orígenes, mismos que regularmente viajan para visitar parientes a otras entidades.
En su oportunidad, Liborio Porfirio Hernández, vocero del Consejo Indígena de Nuevo León, comentó que el problema ya se presentó al capitán Julio César Lanestosa Baeza, persona cercana a López Obrador para que lo entere de la agraviante situación que sufren los indígenas con el “pulpo” camionero de Senda, Transpaís y Frontera.
Liborio Porfirio detalló que los indígenas al ser maltratados en la central de autobuses de Monterrey optaron por organizarse y rentar unidades por su cuenta para viajar a visitar parientes o vacacionar en comunidades de la Huasteca de Hidalgo, Veracruz o San Luis Potosí.
Los compañeros indígenas abordan camiones rentados en la alameda Mariano Escobedo en el centro de Monterrey y se libraron de la discriminación, pero a los transportistas “como que les dolió el éxito económico y que tienen las transportistas independientes” y comenzaron a infiltrar unidades abaratando los viajes para exterminar a la súbita competencia, abundó Liborio Porfirio Hernández.
En tanto, el capitán Julio César Lanestosa Baeza del Movimiento de Morena comentó que es preocupante le problema planteado por los indígenas y anticipó que López Obrador tiene planes de gobierno sensibles hacia esas comunidades originarias, sabe de su situación y, por nuestra parte, “vamos a gestionar los apoyos necesarios para desterrar la discriminación” hacia ellos.
