I Exposición conmemora 90 años del autor
“Los pasos de Jorge Ibargüengoitia”, exposición que conmemora el 90 aniversario del natalicio del autor, ha sido presentada en varios puntos de la república. La muestra es un evento gratuito como lo ha sido en todas sus presentaciones, salvo en el caso de Guanajuato. Fue organizada por el INBA y la pintora Joy Laville, quien fuera esposa del escritor y falleció este año.
El lugar que en esta ocasión alberga esta exposición es el Centro Cultural Colegio Civil, que a partir de sus remodelaciones, conserva y difunde historia, ofreciendo más de diez espacios dinámicos para la creatividad, reflexión y pensamiento. Este recinto da testimonio en sus muros y columnas desde el inicio de su construcción en 1857.
II Los ojos de Ibargüengoitia con mirada cómplice nos conducen
En un ambiente informal se inició la exhibición de 49 piezas de retratos, ilustraciones y carteles, utilizadas como portadas de sus libros y algunas obras que lograron saltar al séptimo arte.
Al entrar a la exposición, los ojos saltones de Jorge Ibargüengoitia nos observan fijamente; divertidos, jocosos, se topan con nuestras miradas cargadas de interrogantes, algunas ven de reojo, como la mujer que ve la contraportada del texto “Las muertas” y lee en voz alta: “Trata de mujeres, entierros clandestinos y asesinatos conforman el siniestro mundo de las mujeres”. “Parece el día de hoy”, comentó a su acompañante.
III Formar lectores, esfuerzo permanente de la UANL
La inauguración corrió a cargo de Geney Beltrán Félix, coordinador nacional de literatura del INBA, José Celso Garza Acuña, Secretario de Extensión y Cultura de la UANL, Pablo Cuéllar, coordinador de exposiciones del Colegio Civil y Minerva Margarita Villarreal, directora de la Capilla Alfonsina de la Universidad y galardonada poeta. Entre gente representativa de la cultura se encontraba el poeta mexicano Margarito Cuéllar y el periodista Eduardo Cruz Vázquez.
Durante el inicio del evento, Geney Beltrán mencionó: “Me permitiré entregar al Dr. José Celso Garza una propuesta que platicaremos luego con más detenimiento, pero que busca fortalecer estos lazos que hemos estado desarrollando”.
El también escritor mexicano adelantó detalles sobre el proyecto al comentar que “a veces se piensa que la profesión literaria tiene que ver solo con formar escritores, pero también preferimos formar lectores que tengan más herramientas para perder el miedo a acercarse a obras literarias y eso forma parte de los esfuerzos que se están realizando”.
