El Alcalde, César Garza y el Gobernador del Estado, Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz, fueron testigos de honor en el banderazo de inicio de construcción de las que serán estas modernas instalaciones médicas que se ubicarán en el cruce de las avenidas Miguel Alemán y Las Américas.
El nosocomio, informó Genaro Levinson, Director General de Doctors Hospital, contará con 180 camas para ofrecer una mayor comodidad a los pacientes, con esta cifra se ayudará a mejorar la atención de los hospitales en el estado al llegar a las 900 camas.
Doctors Hospital East también será un detonante laboral en Guadalupe ya que generará mil 200 empleos directos.
Este hospital tendrá tecnología de punta y contará con personal médico altamente capacitado para dar atención a los guadalupenses y pacientes de otras localidades.
Durante el banderazo de inicio también estuvieron presentes los diputados locales y federal, Francisco Cienfuegos, Daniel Torres y Pedro Pablo Treviño, respectivamente, así como también los Secretarios de Salud y Desarrollo Económico, Jesús Zacarías Villarreal y José Antonio González Treviño, respectivamente.
