El Centro Regiomontano de Educación Especial (CREE, AC) recibió un donativo de 1.6 millones de pesos resultado del Programa Tigres al Rescate, jornada estudiantil que se puso en marcha en agosto del año pasado y que concluyó con el tradicional sorteo y carrera de botargas.
El Rector Jesús Ancer Rodríguez, entregó el cheque simbólico al Presidente del Consejo del CREE, Arturo Hernández de la Torre, en evento que se realizó el 5 de junio en la Biblioteca Universitaria “Raúl Rangel Frías”; en este mismo acto se hizo público que el Patronato de Bomberos de Nuevo León, será la institución que será beneficiada en la edición 2015/2016.
“El origen, los reconocimientos, ser una institución pionera en este tema, pero además se consideró la lista de espera de jóvenes que buscan ingresar a su institución, eso fue factor importante para decidir apoyarlos; en este proyecto se sumaron todos como una sola familia, estudiantes, maestros y directivos, todos trabajamos con mucha sensibilidad”, expresó el Ejecutivo universitario.
Hizo público su reconocimiento a todos los jóvenes involucrados en estas jornadas, “un tema importante en esta Universidad es la responsabilidad social y hacia afuera, en la comunidad, la labor social de nuestra institución es reconocida; somos la única Universidad en el país que tiene el sentido de responsabilidad muy dentro, a eso le llamo nuestro genoma, la labor social”.
Es importante recordar que los recursos entregados por las autoridades universitarias, se recaudaron a través de una serie de actividades como fue Tigres al Rescate, el concierto de la OSUANL, una cena de gala y el boteo de estudiantes en los campus de la institución y con la comunidad en general; acciones lideradas por la Secretaría de Asuntos Universitarios, a través de la Dirección de Actividades Estudiantiles.
“Quiero reconocer por el esfuerzo, empatía, cariño y trabajo que dedicaron durante un año a favor de los alumnos y familias del CREE, queremos manifestarles además que tengan la certeza que el donativo contribuirá enormemente para llevar a cabo el proyecto de acrecentar nuestra capacidad de atender a mas alumnos y familias que están en espera de que podamos brindárselo”.
En este momento en CREE atiende a 80 familias y gracias al donativo esta cifra podrá incrementar a 30 familias más, “este programa se realiza con gran calidad humana, no nos cansamos de felicitarlos por hacer empáticos a los alumnos y hacerlos conscientes de su responsabilidad de atender a la sociedad, a los más débiles de sus miembros”.
Durante esta ceremonia se entregaron reconocimientos a los patrocinadores de Tigres al Rescate: Whirpool, Video Proyección Integral, U Links, Estrella Blanca, Estudiantes Embajadores, Emblema Asesores; así también se entregaron los premios a los ganadores del sorteo que se llevó a cabo durante la carrera de Botargas.
