En cumplimiento con el objetivo de buscar la excelencia entre su alumnado, la Facultad de Ciencias Físico Matemáticas de la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León realizó la entrega de reconocimientos al grupo de estudiantes distinguidos, en donde 107 alumnos de las seis licenciaturas fueron reconocidos por su gran entrega y dedicación al estudio.
Las autoridades que presidieron la ceremonia fueron: el M.T. Rogelio Juvenal Sepúlveda Guerrero, director de la FCFM; el M.T. Atilano Martínez Huerta, Subdirector Administrativo; el M.T. José Apolinar Loyola Rodríguez, Subdirector Académico; el M.C. Álvaro Reyes Martínez, Subdirector de Relaciones Humanas; la M.T. María de Jesús Antonia Ochoa Oliva, Subdirectora de Desarrollo Académico. Entre los asistentes se encontraban coordinadores de carrera, profesores, así como familiares y amigos de los estudiantes distinguidos.
En este evento que se realiza de manera semestral, y que fue llevado a cabo el pasado mes de marzo, se hace un reconocimiento público a los estudiantes que han aprobado en primera oportunidad todas las unidades de aprendizaje cursadas desde su ingreso a la Facultad con un promedio acumulado igual o superior a 90.
Además se reconoció la constancia y esfuerzo de ocho alumnos que mantuvieron esta distinción durante toda su carrera. Ellos recibieron por parte del Director un solapero con el logotipo de la FCFM, cerrando con esto una etapa más en su vida académica.
Los ahora ex alumnos que recibieron este reconocimiento especial son: Alonso Torres Pizaña, de la Licenciatura en Matemáticas; Verónica Lizeth García Caballero, de la Licenciatura en Física; Rodolfo Alvarado Puente, Antonio de Jesús Flores García, Fernando García Alvarado, Reynaldo Ledezma Godínez, Luis Enrique López Nerio y Luis Felipe Rangel Salazar, todos ellos de la Licenciatura en Actuaría.
El Director Rogelio Sepúlveda dijo que además de reconocer a este grupo de estudiantes, este tipo de eventos ayudan también a motivar a un mejor desempeño a toda la comunidad estudiantil.
Citando a Jim Rohn, orador, motivador y exitoso empresario estadounidense, el maestro Rogelio mencionó algunos de los fundamentos básicos para conseguir el éxito: educación, adaptación al cambio, motivación, el hábito de la constancia y la disciplina diaria. Y con esto, animó a los jóvenes a que sigan por este buen camino.
El evento concluyó con una rifa de 5 tablets para que los estudiantes sigan motivados y no bajen la guardia en esta gran labor de permanencia en este selecto grupo.
Es por ello que la Facultad de Ciencias Físico Matemáticas de la UANL, se congratula y a su vez felicita al Grupo de Estudiantes Distinguidos.
